Calendar
When given the task to create a calendar for the humane society I created a calendar that is visually appealing and also considers the art director and clients comments. Throughout the three page calendar spread you will notice the same use of alignment and proximity because I used a master page template. I aligned all the coupons and centered most of the text in order to make the calendar appear clean. I used similar color schemes on each calendar page which displays repetition and cohesiveness. The text boxes and the name of the months have a thicker stroke to allow for contrast. I incorporated interesting facts, valuable coupons, and cute animal pictures that the audience will find appealing. I created a gradient inside the calendar box that is visual appealing and brightens the page. Overall this calendar meets all the requirements and exhibits creativity as well as functionality.
